Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Primary Skills

1.      Strong knowledge in Windows Server Administration

2.      Should have managed Windows 2000/2003 in a medium-to-large scale production environment

3.      Knowledge on Active Directory Services (ADS) DNS & DHCP

4.      Strong troubleshooting knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Event Logs, PerfMon, Backup Jobs, Load Balancing/Clustering issues

5.      Good understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL)

6.      Good remote troubleshooting skills

7.      Excellent Customer handling skills

8.      Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English

9.      Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support



Secondary Skills

1.      Good knowledge on SQL & IIS Administration

2.      Basic Understanding on SAN, MOM/SCOM

3.      MCSE/MCSA Certification

4.      ITIL Certification
